Integrated Quantitative Evaluation Method of SAR Filters

An excellent quantitative evaluation method of SAR de-speckling filters needs to contain a comprehensive both noise smoothing and edge preservation. However, most existing models only evaluate single aspect, while few indicators lack robustness. For this reason, novel integrated is proposed. The proposed weighted by two sub-indicators: the coherent equivalent number looks preservation evaluation. indicator built noise-smoothing ability filters, whereas edge-preserving performance filtered image. Six with an performance, five real synthetic aperture radar images three bands, four polarization modes, resolutions, common indexes were used in experiment. experimental results show that consistent visual effect other indicators, its feasibility was verified.
